|
| Whether
you have a Board of Directors meeting, a spouse
program or a multigenerational
group of VIP customers, EVENTS & COMPANY will
deliver an unforgettable, heart-warming experience by providing access to people and places not normally
open to the public. We like to think that only the
sky is the limit. |
| We can arrange an intimate
dinner in a private Parisian mansion or Norman chateau,
design a menu around recipes from George Sand's,
Claude Monet's or Colette's table, produce a last-minute
wedding reception on April Fool's Day (no kidding!)
and arrange for a parade of mimes, street artists
and folk singers to entertain at a multigenerational
birthday Seine River cruise. In short, your wish
is our command. |
| We offer tours and events 365 days a year, and we pride ourselves on our rapid
response to Email and telephone enquiries, and that
we can handle both questions and last-minute requests
with ease. |
| We
offer a wide range of
Private Programs and
receptions that enable our guests to have a wonderful
time while learning something
new in their area of interest, including Gastronomy,
Fashion and Shopping, Art
and Antiques, History
and Architecture and more. However, you don't
have to feel restricted to these, as we customize
every program
to your needs. |
| Our team of French
licensed guides and professional hosts are fluent
in English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German
and Chinese (both
Mandarin and Cantonese), Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Czech and Polish. They not only offer a superior
level of expertise and knowledge of French history,
culture and savoir-faire, but are able to handle
guests with special needs including the physically
disabled and multigenerational families. |

in time means a great deal. That is why you can count
on us to abide by your needs and wishes.

Rachel Kaplan's Commitment to Quality
In light of the current economic situation, our commitment to both quality and service is more important than ever. We believe that what makes EVENTS & COMPANY different from other private tour companies is our caring and individualized approach to each of our guests. With that in mind, we wish to share our ten service ’commandments,’ which we expect to be adhered to by each of our guides and other suppliers.
1) We aim to provide a friendly and considerate welcome that includes special attention to people’s physical needs and specific interests.
2) Our goal is for each of our guides and drivers to follow the suggested program, and to only change that program when it is at the client’s request.
3) We only work with reliable, licensed guides who have an excellent educational background, fluency in English and other languages, as well as the proper credentials to guide in the museums and monuments of their local city and region.
4) We only refer our guests to restaurants, clubs and transportation suppliers that have proven to have consistently high standards of service and quality.
5) We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive level of service, which includes wheelchair-accessible tours and transportation, special dietary requests, and medical assistance should the need arise.
6) We offer a rapid response to client requests, not just with the initial inquiry but every step of the way, including during the actual travel program.
7) We select our guides according to client needs; generally we work with guides and chauffeurs that have a minimum of ten years experience.
8) We make sure that your travel program is as smooth and seamless as possible, so that you never have to wait on line or have to put up with inferior, indifferent service.
9) We aim to be creative and flexible, so that you don’t feel boxed into a rigid schedule but instead get to visit and discover at your own comfortable pace.
10) If problems do arise we attend to them immediately, and always seek a way to resolve them efficiently and amicably.
