Chairman of the Board at MyChild Inc.
It was my 60th birthday and my dream was to have it in Paris with my friends. With the enormous complexity of 44 guests and 9 different events, I expected hiccups. How could you escape them? All the planning in the world can’t overcome the randomness of things happening. Except there were no hiccups. I’m a perfectionist and I can honestly say that Rachel made the three days perfect. I had hoped for a relatively perfect weekend. I got a perfect weekend plus a bonus. Rachel is a living encyclopedia of Paris history.
You did a fabulous job in organizing our very ambitious itinerary. Evident at every turn was your personal commitment to making our trip the best it could be. It was an experience I will never forget. Again, many thanks for a job very well done. I have spoken to several fellow travelers since I got home, and we are all still basking in the memory of a wonderful time. It was great to meet you, and we all benefited from your outstanding organizational ability. I sincerely hope we will meet again.
I don’t even know where to begin. THANK YOU to Rachel and the entire Events & Co team for making our special 60th birthday celebration for Ron Elliott in Paris the memory of a lifetime. We asked for a daunting 9-event experience spread over 3 days with 42 of our friends and received an adventure that was one of those life defining moments for everyone involved. Rachel met the challenge with verve and gusto. She never left a single detail to chance, in fact, she was with us every moment to insure the time would be flawless. Our events were ALL amazing and extraordinary! The food, the caterers, the musicians, the photographer and the restaurants were all superb. I am sure that our request to have 10 vintage DS Citroen’s drive in a rally around Paris for an afternoon, with English speaking drivers and during a local road rally where many streets were closed, was no small feat. It came off flawlessly and Parisians waved to us as we travelled the cobblestone streets in classic style. So much to say and no way to really express how grateful we are to Rachel for the amazing feat she pulled off last weekend. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. You are the BEST!

I want to give a shout out to Rachel Kaplan for helping us plan our outstanding trip to Europe. She did an excellent job of coordinating our hotels, transportation, tours, shopping and restaurants. Every detail of our trip was organized and because of her expertise, we were able to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short amount of time. She was a delight to work with and I would recommend her company to assist anyone planning a trip to Europe.

Thank you so much for all the efforts you made to make the ANT event a huge success. Your support and organization on the evening was very much appreciated in the overwhelming number of guests and continual changes. Your calm and direct approach with solving problems is valued. Quite a number of people wanted to give very positive feedback about the party. Thank you once again for everything, it was a pleasure working together with you, and I hope we have the pleasure of working together again.

On our recent client trip to Paris, you did an extraordinary job helping to plan and execute the event, and as a result both our clients and staff had a wonderful time. You managed the restaurants, car service, hotels and activities beautifully throughout the entire process. It was such a pleasure to work with you and I look forward to hopefully planning next year’s trip together. Until then, I cannot thank you enough.

If you want a brasher, nonstop, more American approach, contact Rachel Kaplan. She loves to show you what she calls “the deals”; she hates being interrupted (when negotiating). ‘You know what I call the flea market?” –The Louvre—except you can go shopping.’ Some may call that the perfect Paris outing.
Kaplan, admittedly a big thinker, sees her job as much more than a nice way to make a living-she embraces it as a learning experience, and a chance to crash down walls to promote world peace.
If designer fashion is your passion, you can uncover a glittering treasure of hidden Parisian pleasures by tapping the highly cultivated resources of former New Yorker Rachel Kaplan. Ten years as a Paris resident, combined with knowledge and curiosity about the French, has given her a unique perspective on the city.

Custom-tailoring (with minibus, sightseeing, lunch and negotiations in fluent French) is Kaplan’s forte, and make her trips a novel idea of a trousseau gathering hen-party or shopping excursion.
